Calibration Laboratory

TAP Maintenance & Engineering Calibration Laboratory is accredited by IPAC (Accreditation Number M0002 and L0275) to execute calibrations and testing on several areas: Electrical measurements, Dimensional, Force, Hardness, Moment, Pressure, Vacuum, Flow, Temperature and Mass.

The Laboratory provides calibration services to national and international companies, which Quality System are certified.

The Calibration Laboratory manages, calibrates and adjusts all the equipment used in TAP M&E and Customer's fleet, to satisfy all the requirements of the TAP M&E Quality System.

Physical and Chemical Laboratory

The Physical and Chemical Laboratory performs the following tests:

• Analytical Control of Plating Solutions
• Analytical Control of Cleaning Solution
• Analytical Control of Industrial Wastewater
• Physical / Chemical Oil Analysis
• Fuel Mycological Analysis
• Maintenance Products Testing
• X-ray Fluorescence

NDT Laboratory

The NDT Laboratory is equipped with the most recent equipment for performing inspections on Engine, Aircraft and Components.

All NDT technicians are certified in accordance with NAS-410 in the methods of Radiography (X-ray and Gamma ray), Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particles and Liquid Penetrant.

As part of the JAR-145 and FAR-145 certification the NDT Laboratory may issue a final release (trough JAA form one or FAA 8130-3) for the performed NDT.
