TAP M&E participates in the world largest MRO Exhibition
20/04/2011Once again TAP Maintenance and Engineering (TAP M&E)
participates in the MRO Americas, the largest event in the world of
aircraft maintenance (MRO - Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul). The
Event is in its 16th edition and TAP M&E was present in the
last eight editions. On several issues the Company also
participated with its Executives acting as speakers, besides its
presence with a booth.
The Exhibition took place from April 12 to 14, at the Convention
Center Miami Beach, Florida, and the booth of TAP M&E was the
busiest among the Latin America MRO companies which were present,
given the leadership of TAP M&E Brazil in the airplane
maintenance segment in the region, and the international
recognition that the TAP Group has in the world market for
commercial aviation.
Renowned professionals from various areas of civil aviation,
defense and maintenance attended the event, as visitors, exhibitors
or speakers. They were representing the TAP M&E, a team of
Marketing & Sales Area, Anderson Fenocchio and Ricardo Vituzzo,
from Brazil; Henrique Guimaraes, Joao Blattmann and Pedro Dias,
from Portugal, in addition to the sales representative for North
America, Steve Duran.
This year the event dedicated conferences exclusively to the
aircraft maintenance in Latin America - the MRO Latin America,
which led to a higher presence of airliners of the region. Many of
them have already done maintenance of its aircraft in the Brazil
Unit of TAP M&E. It was an opportunity to meet long-standing
customers and suppliers, and new business possibilities for
aircraft and components were treated.
Besides enabling closer relationships with existing customers,
this event provides the networking necessary to start new
businesses. It brings together all players in one place, not only
to discuss these new possibilities, but to know the latest trends
in the industry. According to the promoters of the event, given the
high cost of maintenance throughout the world, several airlines
have recognized the advantages of making the maintenance of their
aircraft and components in Latin America. TAP M&E, certified by
the major aviation agencies (FAA, EASA and FAA) and with expertise
for Airbus, Boeing and Embraer is ready to meet this demand.
